Mystery Of The Dried Leaves

with 6 comments

Carlos ( 1 yr 10 mths )

Carlos.

A week ago, we found dried leaves all over the living room floor. We’re living 21 stories up, so there was no way any leaves from trees could have been blown all the way up here.

Today, Michelle returned home to find Carlos crouching under the chair at the dining table. He usually greeted us every time we came home. He was strangely quiet today, ears pulled back, watching Michelle enter. Sensing that something was amiss, Michelle walked up to him and slowly lifted him up.

She found an apple under Carlos’s belly.

Apparently Carlos was about to eat the apple when Michelle came home, and decided to hide it by sitting on top of it.

Michelle checked the fruit basket on the table. It was almost empty.

The fruit basket which Carlos stole from.

The fruit basket which Carlos stole from.

The dried leaves, we presume, came from the orange colored ang sais he ate. Probably one fruit a day, for the entire week.

  6. We have been feeding the dog. Once a day in the evenings. He’s too fat.

Like what Jessie’s mum said, it’s better that he eats fruits instead of pens and pencils on the table.
