Popped by Pet Safari @ Vivocity to get some dog food. Jessie fell in love with a 4-month old male West Highland Terrier puppy on display, so much so that she returned to the shop for the second time in a day. The puppy had really sharp features, was alert and curious, and he loved being carried around by Jessie.
However, it was going for $2,250 (after a $100 discount for cash payment), way more expensive than the price we paid for Carlos ($1.9k). Michelle and Dad both advised her to consider pet farms, which have a wider variety of dogs, and way less expensive.
After she’s done terminating her problematic maid and getting the new one, we could go there to make the final decision, hopefully with Bernadette’s help as well!

Guys, if you’re considering pet farms, stay, i repeat, stay the fuck away from Ericsson Pet Farm. I bought a puppy there a couple of months back for my sister’s birthday, got it for about 2k. A couple of days later, the dog started to fall sick on us. So we called the salesman up, and he told us to bring it straight to him instead of bringing it to a vet.
He told us that they would look into the problem and nurse the puppy back to health but to my sister’s horror, when my dad brought my sister down to visit her new puppy, the salesman told us it passed away. No calls from him informing us, nothing, which he conveniently excused himself saying it ‘died just awhile ago’. Best of all, the motherfucker didn’t show us the body, or at least take a picture as proof. Whether its still alive and kicking in the hands of another owner whom might have bidded more for it while it was there, I don’t know.
He promised as a replacement(top up the difference in value) after I went down in Godzilla mode kicking up a storm, BUT, when we decided to get a Yorkshire Terrier, he quoted us 3k. Motherfucker was obviously trying to rip us off, AGAIN. This breed goes for around 2k outside, easily. My dad on the other hand was pissed tired of driving up and down to look at dogs, decided enough was enough and bought him. We couldn’t talk him out of it, him being stubborn and impatient, aside from the fact that it was his money, too.
I hope you’ll learn from my painful lesson and I’d hate for you, or anyone to have to go through what I’ve been through. That being said, happy dog hunting. :)

Hi Kenn, so which pet farm would you recommend me to go? I’m keen on getting a West Highland. Pet’s safari quoted me $2250 if i pay cash. Is it advisable to go to pet shops at river valley road?

I called the breeder that my aunt referred me today. He quoted 2k plus, (before bargaining) inclusive of microchip and don’t know what tag for the West Highland Terrier. We can just go down and view first before you guys make any decisions. The place is called Pet Movers at Pasir Ris Farmway.. :D
