Had a discussion with Jessie today. We were thinking of donating blood.

But the thought of the huge needle kinda discouraged us… for… the time being. Moreover, Jessie fainted (probably out of fear) after donating blood in secondary school, so she’s pretty nervous about the whole thing.

We’ll go in the first week of April instead. And if it all goes well, we’ll be regular blood donors.

  2. Just don’t look at the needle when they stick it in u if u are scared. The most painful part is when they give u the injection to numb u. If u are really scared, i recommend that u don’t take the newbie. They well just cause your arm to bruise. lol…

  3. zijie : that was pretty nice of you. when you wanna donate we go together la.

rebecca : oh, but the first injection should be done with a smaller needle right? the blood-sucking part with the fatter cannula right?

So we don’t take the newbie nurse? You trying to say that? Yea, I’ve had some huge bruise last time after some junior medic missed my vein and apparently pulled the plunger while in the wrong spot.

    Ah, I fuckin hate needles.

  4. lol… yah. the smaller one feels like a slight pinch. other than that nothing hurts. As for newbie nurse, u will know how to identify them after a while lol…
