Hump Hump Hump

with 3 comments

Dear Human,

Carlos and Gabbie

I suddenly felt "in the mood", and Gabbie was in the cage so… I went to hump Dad's leg.

He gave me a stunned look for a few seconds before chasing me round the house. With my ears tucked back, and body close to the ground, I watch him scold me… laugh, then continued scolding.

Then he reached down and gave my "wee wee" a pinch.

I think I picked the wrong target this time.

With love,
Carlos

The last thing I'm ever gonna do is park head-in between two lorries. No car/pedestrian coming from the side is ever going to notice you coming out from in there!

Early this morning, around 10am, I was reversing SLOWLY out of a parking lot when there was a loud thud coming from the back. I turned my head round just to see a middle-aged man taking jumping back with a shocked expression on his face.  I knew I had just reversed into him.

So I stopped the car, hopped out, and went over to see if he was ok.  And he stood there, clutched his hand in pain, before nodding that he was alright. I apologized and he re-assured me that he was ok. Probably reversed into his hand. I was lucky I didn't roll over his foot or knock him down, otherwise things would have been fucked

My First Pair Of Skates

with 6 comments

Just starting to learn how to blade for the past 2 weeks.

Apparently the $40 blades I got from Carrefour aren't doing any good for beginners like me. The bearings are fucked, making it hard to glide. Even SAF boots are more comfy to wear.

Moreover the blades are called "Xiang Tian" (Facing Sky), which is exactly what my legs will be doing when I fall.

Time to fork out cash to get a proper pair.

Twists and Turns

with 8 comments

I picked Jessie up from Vivocity after work. The early morning grilling, coupled with the rush hour jam pissed me off. Moreover, high tide, and stepping on the clutch added more pressure to the already bursting bladder. Jessie got into the car then shoved me a present.

It was really nice of her and it cheered me up a lot. Thank you my girl =D Looks like things didn't turn out that bad after all.

Getting Fatter

with 4 comments

Dear Human,

Ever since Gabbie was introduced late July, you would expect…

FOOD / 2

Instead… it became..

FOOD x 2

Since Gabbie is such a small dog, and we both get equal portions, I get to finish her leftover food. But of course I have the courtesy to ask first. I've put on a lot of weight recently.

Carlos sitting on Jessie's lap.

I like to think of it as "healthy fats".

Being bigger in size has given me lots of advantages. It's easier for me to protect Gabbie. I just sit down in front of her, and nobody would even know she's there.

Carlos (7 mths old) and Gabbie (4 mths old).

Gabbie does stupid things sometimes. Like falling asleep between Dad's armpits.

Gabbie in a deep sleep, Dad too.

I'm taking off! See you later!

With love,
Carlos

Facial Foam

with 8 comments

Without my glasses, I'm as blind as a bat. The difference is, bats identify their prey's location with ultrasound waves. I simply grope about the toiletries for my facial foam. As long as the bottle fits my palm, IT IS FACIAL FOAM.

I squeezed the transparent blue liquid onto my palms and rubbed my face hard. It must be a new brand of facial foam Jessie bought which explains the color. It smelled a lot like hospital antiseptic . Pretty smooth, little or no foam. Probably some expensive facial product. After washing my face thoroughly, I grabbed the white bottle to take a closer look.

VAGISIL FEMININE WASH!

Fuck!

Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 3)

with 33 comments

Related : Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 1) and Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 2).

I successfully submitted my renunciation on Friday after a lot of trouble.

I came back for the third time and the person gave a really grumpy look after checking my forms to find them partially incomplete. The forms are in Malay! So we asked if we could pay anyone to help us fill the forms in and his face brightened up a little.

He produced a small slip of paper with driving instructions to this shop. Take note, if you have anything to do with Malaysian immigration and the people there are uncooperative, you WILL need this guy. Let me give you the details :

WTLEE SERVICES

Blk 77, #01-499, Indus Road, Singapore 161077
Call Louis Lee, HP: 97933633

It's within the cluster of HDB flats opposite the High Commission. This Louis guy specializes in filling up application forms and making sure your forms don't get rejected. I got mine filled up for $25. Expensive, but would you rather come back and queue up just to be turned away again? He actually filled up my particulars on the computer and re-printed the complete forms for me. So all I had to do was to sign.

I returned to the same idiot and shoved him my stack of forms.  His face brightened up and without EVEN checking my forms, he shoved me a queue number to submit them. Heheh…

The next time I'm going back there again is to collect my Letter of Renunciation, then head down to SIR building to take my oath.

[ Update : 020908 ]

Dear all,

Do kindly take note, just in case there are any enquiries about Form K.

As of current, I have taken my oath, and completed all my renunciation at the High Commission.

I am currently waiting for the collection of Form K – Certificate of Renunciation, which will take approximately two years from date of renunciation. My renunciation date is 03/08/07, which means my Form K collection date will be 03/08/09.

Upon collection of Form K, I must submit them (original and a photocopy) personally / send a representative to Citizen Services Centre immediately to complete the entire process.

[ Update : 301208 ]

Just updating for your info, might be useful for those who wish to see how far is the light at the end of tunnel.

I have completed the renunciation on the Malaysian side, and taken the oath at ICA building on 03 AUG 07. ICA sent me a letter in SEP 08, requesting that I submit the official renunciation document (Form K) by AUG 09.

The following are email exchanges for your reference.

My email to ICA

I writing to you with regards to the letter “OATH OF RENUNCIATION, ALLEGIANCE AND LOYALTY (ORAL), Ref No : Minor Oath” which I received on 01 Sep 2008.

According to the letter, the deadline to send the original and photocopy is on 18 AUG 2009.

My renunciation at the High Commission of Malaysia has been completed on 03 AUG 2007. Till date, I have not received my Form K. I have written to High Commission of Malaysian and was advised that the process take approximately two years. Collection date is, hopefully, latest by 03 AUG 2009. Attached is the email from High Commission for your perusal.

As this collection date is dangerously close to the deadline, I would like to request for an extension till any date in DEC 2009, giving sufficient time for resolution if any unfortunate issues should arise with the collection.

Do kindly take my request into consideration.

Attached reply from High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore

Dear Ms/Mr Sukianto Hamzah,

RENUNCIATION OF MALAYSIAN CITIZENSHIP

1. I wish to refer to your email dated 01 September 2008 on the above.

2. We regret to inform you that your Certificate of Renunciation (Form K) / Birth Certificate are not available for collection as the application are still under process.

3. We are awaiting reply from the Registrar of Citizen in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Be rest assured you will be notified immediately on receipt of the Form K/Birth Certificate. The process will take approximately two years. Please quote your registration number for further enquiries i.e. RN 44 / 08 / 2007.

Reply from ICA

After due consideration, we regret to inform you that we are unable to accede to your request to extend the deadline till Dec 2009. However, should you encounter a delay in the collection of the official renunciation document in early Aug 2009 , please inform us in writing with document from the relevant authorities and we would consider your request.

Just to let you guys know that this process will take years, given that submission of documents now are significantly delayed as compared to when I did it in 2007.

Start of renunciation process : 17 JUL 2007

Oath and complete submission of documents : 03 AUG 2007

End of renunciation process : 18 AUG 2009 (deadline to submit Form K from HCM to ICA)

I wish you all the best of luck.

[ Update : 130409 ]

Estee has information on how to do it overseas. For more information, kindly visit : http://ponponpatapon.wordpress.com/renouncing-your-malaysian-citizenship-the-quick-an-easy-way/

[ Update : 050809 ]

I do not have good news for you unfortunately. I am getting increasingly frustrated with the whole process.

Two years have passed since the submission of my application. I wrote to them again with regards to my Certificate of Renunciation (Form K) collection.

My document is not ready. I was told that the process will take approximately 2 to 3 years now due to the upsurge in applications, an increase from the initial 2 years which they had mentioned in the previous email dated 01 September 2008.

I am extremely upset with their reply, knowing that I would most probably have to wait for another year.

I have now written to Immigrations & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requesting for an extended submission deadline.

Reply from High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore

Jessie got through the 40 minute interview with flying colors today. Was glad to hear so when she called me up before lunch. She turned out to be… over-qualified =D I think she smoked the interviewer until he couldn't breathe.

She mentioned that she was a part-time student, so the guy told her specifically NOT to bring her textbooks to work. LOL.

One of the interview questions we discussed late last night was when the interviewer asks…

How do you propose we cut costs for the company?

And our planned response was to look him straight in the eye. Raise your right index finger, point it straight at his face, and calmly tell him….

By firing you.

Too bad it wasn't used at all today.
