Hi All, I Am Gabbie
Dear Human,
Hi. My name is Gabbie. Actually I'm Gabrielle, but you can call me Gabbie. I'm a 3 month old female miniature schnauzer.
I joined the Wong family on 30th July 2007. My birthday is on 18th April 2007.
I'm generally a very calm person dog, taking things one step at a time. I don't make sudden moves, or rather, I prefer lying down and watching everybody go about their daily schedules, just relaxing, enjoying a martini. I'm allergic to chicken by the way, that means I only get to eat scallops, oysters, premium lamb chops and abalone.
Carlos circles my cage now and then, trying to peer into the little box I'm sleeping in.
I think he's attracted to me, but I'm playing hard to get.
With love,
Gabbie
16th Month Anniversary
Celebrated our 16th Month Anniversary on Wednesday at Sentosa. Parked at Mt Faber around 8p.m. and took a cable car over to Sentosa. It's been ages since we've sat in one, and now they have fully glass cabins as well.

Normal Price : $17. Islander Member Price : $13.
Spent the night lazing around Sentosa, just enjoying the night breeze.

Jessie gave me a really interesting 'time-capsule box' with rose petals, lots of chocolates, our movie stubs and ferry tickets from our last trip to Tioman.

Anyways, I love you my darling for that wonderful night =D Happy 16 month anniversary!

I think Accounting teachers who use Microsoft Excel as a teaching aid are really good teachers. The numbers and text are clear and sharp, and you'll never need to reach for a calculator.
Mizuno Wave Run 2007
I reluctantly got up at 6:00am today, only after Jessie's repeated attempts to drag me out of bed. It was raining heavily. Cold. Dark. We drove to McDonalds for breakfast. It's been a while since I had breakfast at this odd hour. It was nostalgic seeing those underaged secondary school kids sleeping at the tables, after a hard night of partying, waiting for the first bus home.
Pang's dad threw away his number tag, but he still came, even though he was uncertain if he could take part in the race. We picked stranded Mr Pang up from the bus stop before going down to Temasek Poly. Every car park there was jammed packed with cars, and I gleefully drove up a grass patch to park. FWAHAHAHA! So many people were doing that, so it was impossible to get clamped!
We bid Pang farewell as he went off to defend his 10km competitive title for Kenya, Jessie and I joined the 5km fun run.
Time passed really fast and we thoroughly enjoyed the early morning Bedok Reservoir scenery around us. Even though our shoes were soaking wet and muddy, both of us were pretty much pleased that we completed our first race together. More of such events to come!
However, there were two things that screwed up during the event:
Running Route
8000 people running through a small Bedok Reservoir path! There were choke points all around where people could only stop and walk because the people in front were all walking. Wet and muddy people were hopping over puddles of water like frogs.
Goodie Bags Tentage
Temasek Poly stadium was already jammed packed with 8000 participants The Goodie Bags tentage was a bit larger than a coffeeshop drink stall. The queue was horrendous. Everybody just shoved their way around. And… the organizers ran out of singlets!
I just hope Wave Run 2008 will turn out to be a better one.
After the run, we took a long soak in the pool (we didn't even shower before entering), and the feeling was simply fantastic. Pang, being a real gentleman, did not masturbate in the jacuzzi this time round Jessie was present.
Like Father, Like Son
Dear Human,
Just keeping in touch with the girl who buys me lots and lots of treats, telling her what to buy next time.
With love,
Carlos
Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 2)
Related : Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 1) and Renunciation of Malaysian Citizenship (Part 3).
Renunciation was a pain in the ass. Jessie spent an entire day travelling to and fro from the Embassy, had to endure my constant grumblings, watch me throw my documents aside and scream.
My experience at the Consulate section of the Embassy :
F U C K E D U P
The people there don't take you seriously. They give vague one-liner replies. They don't even look at you in the eye when they talk to you. Must be because I'm renuncing my citizenship, thats why they don't take me seriously.
I stepped into the little office with no-clue as to where to go. There were four counters, but the queue-number dispensing machine was out of order. No instructions or whatsoever. So I blindly queued up for the forms section.
A grumpy guy checked my documents, and asked me for my Borang W. I said I didn't have it. "Without Borang W, cannot process you know. It's a blue certificate. You go call your parents to see if they have it. You give me your birth cert now, go sit down, then I call you."
I sat there for half an hour. Mum and Dad didn't even have the slightest idea that this form existed. He called me again.
Guy : "Find the Borang W?"
Me : "No. I don't even have it in the first place. Are you sure I'm required to have it?"
Guy : "Your birthcert write THIS CHILD IS NOT A CITIZEN OF SINGAPORE AT BIRTH, so you must give me the cert."
Me : "But I don't have it. Then how?"
Guy : "Other people also have! You must go find it, then come back. Ok?"
THEN YOU ASK ME WAIT 30 MINUTES FOR WHAT?! TO TELL ME TO GO HOME AND FIND IT?
Guy : "Later 3pm, my staff will call you. Then you come back."
I went home, tore the whole place upside down and I was certain I didn't have it. It was 3 p.m, nobody called, so I took my initiative to pick mum up from work and go down (hopefully she could smoke her way through) This time, a female officer was at the counter. We explained the situation to her and she was damn reluctant to even do anything.
Female : "Need the Borang W. You will receive it together with your passport la. How can don't have?"
*time to pull rank*
Mum : "A consulate officer friend of ours made the passport for us! You can check the signature and name on the passport. He did not pass the Borang W to us."
*she looked a bit convinced*
Female : "Ok, I will explain to the staff. We normally tell people to go home to find the document."
Mum : "Can we submit the documents now?"
Female : "No, submission time is 8:00am to 11:30am. You have to come back tomorrow"
Mum : "Ok then. Can you CHECK if we have the correct documents"
*She pulled a bloody long face before she went through our documents*
And on our way out from that place, we found out that the security guard was even more helpful than the staff inside.

Dear all,
Do kindly take note, just in case there are any enquiries about Form K.
As of current, I have taken my oath, and completed all my renunciation at the High Commission.
I am currently waiting for the collection of Form K – Certificate of Renunciation, which will take approximately two years from date of renunciation. My renunciation date is 03/08/07, which means my Form K collection date will be 03/08/09.
Upon collection of Form K, I must submit them (original and a photocopy) personally / send a representative to Citizen Services Centre immediately to complete the entire process.
[ Update : 301208 ]
Just updating for your info, might be useful for those who wish to see how far is the light at the end of tunnel.
I have completed the renunciation on the Malaysian side, and taken the oath at ICA building on 03 AUG 07. ICA sent me a letter in SEP 08, requesting that I submit the official renunciation document (Form K) by AUG 09.
The following are email exchanges for your reference.
My email to ICA
I writing to you with regards to the letter “OATH OF RENUNCIATION, ALLEGIANCE AND LOYALTY (ORAL), Ref No : Minor Oath” which I received on 01 Sep 2008.
According to the letter, the deadline to send the original and photocopy is on 18 AUG 2009.
My renunciation at the High Commission of Malaysia has been completed on 03 AUG 2007. Till date, I have not received my Form K. I have written to High Commission of Malaysian and was advised that the process take approximately two years. Collection date is, hopefully, latest by 03 AUG 2009. Attached is the email from High Commission for your perusal.
As this collection date is dangerously close to the deadline, I would like to request for an extension till any date in DEC 2009, giving sufficient time for resolution if any unfortunate issues should arise with the collection.
Do kindly take my request into consideration.

I do not have good news for you unfortunately. I am getting increasingly frustrated with the whole process.
Two years have passed since the submission of my application. I wrote to them again with regards to my Certificate of Renunciation (Form K) collection.
My document is not ready. I was told that the process will take approximately 2 to 3 years now due to the upsurge in applications, an increase from the initial 2 years which they had mentioned in the previous email dated 01 September 2008.
I am extremely upset with their reply, knowing that I would most probably have to wait for another year.
I have now written to Immigrations & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) requesting for an extended submission deadline.

Haven't been blogging for the past week due to a really really busy schedule. Packed almost every night.
Today was pretty relaxing though. Went for a run at East Coast with Jessie in anticipation of next week's Wave Run. Spent the afternoon soaking by the pool, buying dinner over to Grandma's place. Had a short nap before we headed to Great World, then down to Mustafa to shop.
Just taking my own sweet time…
