Celebrated our anniversary with a simple dinner at Changing Appetites @ Marina Square, followed by a couple of drinks at Flo Bar & Lounge @ One Fullerton.

Jessie presented me with a scrapbook photoalbum that she took an entire month to design and make.

Thats so sweet of you my girl. And I’m looking forward to our 2nd Year :D

Few weeks back, there was a decapitated cat’s head rolling about on the ECP. I was fetching Jessie home to Bedok, doing slightly above 100. The head rolled into my lane and I ran over it. The sensation afterwards can be described simply as "going fast over a tiny hump". A loud "tud-dukpt", followed by a sharp cracking sound, of which I think, is the skull.

The rear wheel was pretty much in a mess. After parking the car, I took out a LED torchlight and found dark stains + fresh red tissue all over the backwheel.  Blood all around my bumper even. Jessie gave me a bottle of water to wash up the mess but the fishy smell (i think brain matter) still lingered on.

Luckily, nothing happened to the bumper, otherwise Dad would have hung me like the cat. 

Waikian and Jessie consoled me with the fact that "it was impossible to avoid anything at 100 without crashing". It made me feel a lot better. But I’m pretty worried about the "cat-has-9-lives" theory.

I wonder which life of it I took. I hope it’s the 9th and final one.

Ah yes, not forgetting your present…

We got a damn good grade for Economics project, together with the presentation today. My dear Jessie spent countless of hours doing up everything beforehand, compiling the report..etc.  She summarized my 10 page report down to only 2 pages and handed it up. Teacher gave a thumbs up. If she knew that Jessie almost pulled a 1-man-show, she would have hung me and my other team mate.

Thank you my dear! I feel kinda guilty about getting the marks but I’ll make up for this during the next project I promise you.

For now I can rest peacefully.

Been busy like fuck for the past week rushing projects once again. We simply just enjoy the thrill of doing projects last minute. Here’s a back-dated post and the pics for Trisha’s 21st birthday celebrations on 24th February.

Trisha treated all of us a to a really sumptous meal at New York New York cafe @ City Link.

Trisha booked a room at the Pan Pacific, so we could all watch the fireworks from the balcony. It was the first time I saw fireworks actually launching off from the ground. We were high up and just overlooking the launch site. Spectacular!

I badly need some good uninterrupted 7 hours of sleep.  But I ain’t getting any till Saturday night. I’m slogging my ass off from the time my feet touches the ground till the time it goes off the ground.
