Time flies like a bullet when you’re busy with work.
I like that feeling of how the weeks pass so fast when you’re learning and doing a tons of new tasks everyday (even after almost a year at the job). I’m very happy where I am at the moment.
At the same time, there’s a nagging feeling deep down inside me that I’m missing out on other important things in life which I don’t even realize.
I don’t even know what they are. Yep. I just mentioned that I don’t even realize what they are.
Ferrari 599 GTO Accident (video)
Here’s the video which everyone has been talking about in Singapore: http://youtu.be/8JfAaOABk4g
Universal Studios Singapore 050512
Brought the folks out to Universal Studios Singapore today. Initially we tricked them into believing that they were attending some “corporate family day” event at Sentosa with lots of shelter, food and drinks because they simply hated the outdoors.
Well, they still had fun at Universal Studios Singapore!

Just heard some news from Mum which made me cringe.
Apparently her friend’s son, a university student in KL, got doused with acid. He didn’t manage to escape in time and ended up losing his entire ear (and part of his face) to the chemical burn. He doesn’t know the attacker but reports say it was the same person who did it to a few others. Still not caught, yet.
Now the poor boy is considering coming to Singapore for plastic surgery and Mum’s helping them to source around.
Ear Syringing 280412
Just had ear syringing done today at a nearby GP’s clinic and the feeling was fantastic. It was even more satisfying to see the huge chunks of ear wax floating on a pool of warm water in the metal kidney bowl which was held under my ear.
Weeks ago, I started digging my ears and ended up compacting the wax… that was the point of no return. According to the GP, there was absolutely no reason to dig out ear wax. Here’s an article for you: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26443394/ns/health-health_care/t/now-hear-leave-your-earwax-alone/.

My friend told me…
“There are two activities you need to do before you die… Scuba diving and skydiving.”
I’ll be heading down to check out diving packages at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) event tomorrow with Jessie and some colleagues. Hopefully I’ll be able to learn more about the thrills of diving and get a rough estimate of how much this new hobby will cost.
I’m convinced that this new-found hobby will be very useful in the future… due to global warming and rising sea levels.

I think this is one of the rare places in Singapore where you can find pasta main courses going for only $15, coupled with excellent service, classy ambience and complimentary parking. Even the chef came out of the kitchen to mingle with the guests.
Waiter: How would you like your lamb?
Me: Dead.
Waiter: *speechless for a moment, then laughs*
Jessie: Hi, could you take a group photo for us?
Manager: Sure.
Jessie: *passes her camera to the restaurant manager*
Manager: Can you run fast?
Jessie: Huh?
Manager: *pretends to run off with Jessie’s camera*
We’ll definitely be back again.

On the 1st of April 2006, I was serving my National Service on Pulau Tekong Island.
I called my Dad in the afternoon using a friend’s phone to inform him that his son was mortally wounded in a grenade training exercise. Upon hearing the news, he went quiet and could only mumble “Oh no… Oh no…”.
After revealing that it was only an April Fools’ joke, he yelled into the phone and it took him quite a while before he forgave me.
That was by far the sickest joke I’ve ever pulled off.
Pulau Ubin 170312
Visited Pulau Ubin with colleagues and their partners.
It was a cheap well-deserved getaway from city life. Sadly, the weather didn’t give us enough time to catch the sunset at the peak of Pulau Ubin.

Pang and Elgene were standing side-by-side at the cashier placing their food orders.
Cashier: *looks at both of them* Together?
Pang and Elgene: Yep. Together.
Me: *interrupts* Together?
Cashier: …
Me: How can they be together? They’re not even attached!
The cashier shot me a dirty look.
Alvin and Marie’s Wedding 090312
Caught up with the ex-national service friends for Alvin and Marie’s Wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. It was a night full of laughter and catching up as we celebrated with the newlyweds.
